Hi Dan, I just finished reading your review of The Little Blue Truck - and am still chuckling about the asshole yellow dump truck.
If you like books that you can sing to Miles, I'm wondering if you'd like to read/review my children's picture book, "The Ballad of Biily McFee." Although it can be read like any rhyming book, I wrote the lyrics to be sung to the melody of the viral Wellerman tune. (My young grandsons loved singing the real Wellerman song last year until they started asking what the words meant. Being whale-lovers, they weren't overly happy about the song once they learned about whaling. Since the loved the boisterous melody, I wrote new kid-friendly and whale-friendly lyrics and put them into a kids picture book.)
I know you're a tough critic - and I'd like to know what you and Miles think of it. I'd be happy to send a PDF and/or paperback to review.
P.S. I just have to add that The Ballad of Billy McFee also has a couple assholes that Billy has to deal with as he goes about his mission. We all have to deal with those characters...
